This blog post is going to be about places that I have either been to or dream of going to with my boyfriend in the future. I really feel that there is no rush when it comes to stopping your chances of travelling as the world needs to be seen and life needs to be enjoyed. I am loving doing this blog post as it means I will get inspiration for when it comes to travelling. Obviously there are more than ten places that I dream to go to but these are my top ten and I will explain why. Enjoy!
1. Florence.
Florence really is a stunning place to visit, it is so rich of history. The buildings are so beautiful and intricate. I have stood on the path at the left side of this photo and the picture may be stunning but it does not capture the true feeling and view you get when you are really there. I was luckily enough to go on a cruise that allowed me to go and see many beautiful places. Florence has so many places you can go and see, there is shops that are all to do with gold and expensive jewellery. We could've gone into the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore on the cruise but unfortunately the spaces had ran out for that trip so we couldn't. But I would recommend seeing it if you can!
2. Iceland
I will obviously highly recommend Iceland as a place to visit as I have been there and can say that it is an amazing place that is full of the most amazing views. It is so different from other places you can visit, it is so full of nature and animals that is just so eye opening and it is so rare to go to a place that isn't full of structures. There are so many geological formations that are rich with stories. If you like mythological stories then I would recommend taking/hiring someone to have with you who knows the stories and can inform you of it.
3. Greece
I would love to go to Greece due to the film Mamma Mia as it just seems like such a beautiful and simple life to live. I also love the heat and Greece is known for its amazing hot weather. The colours of the buildings are also beautiful and they all seem to fit like a perfect puzzle. I would also love to go snorkeling and swimming in the warm clear water. I mean you can see from the photo how beautiful the scenery is there.
4. Singapore
This place just seems amazing, I think this would be one of the best city visits you can go to. It just seems so futuristic. It is also on my bucket list of places to go with my boyfriend as it seems like such a young energetic place to visit whilst I am young. Now, I cannot promote this as much due to never visiting there but I am so excited to in the future as it may be a city but it is so full of green space, which is why it seems so futuristic. In this photo you can see the large architectural structures but through other photos you can see how there is so much greenery and I am a big fan of nature and how the future of architecture can mix with mother nature.
5. Monaco
Monaco is so different from other places you can visit. It is such a contrast due to the money within this area. I went here due to being on the cruise and I am so grateful for that chance as it is full of people who are so different from the middle class within the UK that I was used to. There are women that walk around wearing a designer scarf and sunglasses. This is the perfect place if you love cars or boats as they have the most expensive ones there and it is so fun to see. Overall, it just seems like you stepped into a whole other world, and to be in that bubble for just one day was a luxury. I would highly recommend adding this one to the list.
6. Toronto
I think this photo sums up the reason why I would like to see Toronto. The night life. It is just full of skyscrapers and energy. I would love to take an evening out to have a lush dinner to then explore the wonders within Toronto. I especially would like to eat at The One Eighty. It looks like such a nice restaurant as you can see the whole of Toronto from that restaurant and it seems to have good reviews. If anyone has been to that restaurant please leave me a comment saying what you what it was like.
7. Brussels
Brussels isn't the typical place that people aim to visit but as Brussels is another place that I have visited (unfortunately not for very long) I can say that it is an amazingly stunning place that is rich with history. I went there to look at the World War 1 and 2 memorials. When I go there again I would love to see the Grote Markt as it is full of beautiful colours and rich with history. I love all kinds of history that is soaked deep within a town or city. This one is full of it. The architecture is also stunning as it is so intricate and it is especially pretty in the evening as the sun starts to set. I also want to go on Brussels chocolate tour (yes that is a real thing!) because I have such a sweet tooth and I have already tasted the luxury that is Brussels chocolate and it think it would be such a fun thing to try.
8. Amsterdam
Amsterdam is such a typical holiday destination but there are so many places I want to visit and do. I would like to cycle around the streets, go to the Anne Frank house, take a boat trip, go to tulip fields and go to fancy restaurant for dinner. I loved the look of it from 'The Fault In Our Stars', especially the Anne Frank house. As, yet again, it is full of rich history and the stories of its people. I also, love their houses as they are so different from the houses in the UK and I bet it looks stunning at night during autumn!
9. New York
I have always wanted to go to New York ever since I watched the first episode of Friends and reading the After Series. Yet again, I just love the idea of experiencing the city life that is so busy and full. I want to do all the tourist parts (to just to be typical) and go see every inch of it I can. This could be the Statue of Liberty, central park and places that correlate to the filming of Friends. I have dreamed of visiting the Manhatta (it is extremely expensive) but to even look at it would be amazing as it has windows that views over the top of the whole of New York City.
10. Biarritz
My final one is a place I have visited quite a few times now and I absolutely LOVE it! In the summer, the weather can get to 36 degrees celsius and sometimes higher. The coast is also stunning and the water is warm (this is so rare for people within the UK). I would highly recommend going to Mooney's burgers within the town centre as they do the best burger and chips there, I still miss it to this day. They also have the loveliest walks to go around and enjoy the area. There is also ice cream trucks that make ice cream into little roses that are beautiful and taste delicious! I have only ever gone in summer so I cannot say what it is like in winter but the summers there are to die for!
